Who We Are

About Us

Athens Link Fellowship is a non denominational church fellowship that meets together in Athens, Georgia. We are passionate about seeing the Kingdom of heaven reign in the earth, beginning in our city. Friendship and being known by the Lord through a personal relationship is something we hold in high regard. We value doing life together as family.

What We Believe

  • The eternal existence of one infinite triune God – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  • The infallibility and authority of the inspired Word of God as contained within the canonized Holy Bible.
  • The deity, virgin birth, sinless life, vicarious atonement, physical resurrection, and the glorious visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ at a time known only to Him.
  • The goodness of God; His love for all people; His desire to save, restore, and have a relationship with all who come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ.
  • The sinful nature of all men, the coming wrath of God, the necessity of salvation through Jesus Christ alone.
  • Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, who, according to the Scriptures, died for our sins, was buried, and was raised from the dead on the third day, and that through His blood we have redemption. (Titus 2:11, 3:5-7; Romans 10:8-15; I Cor. 15:3-4).
  • Anyone can receive salvation and come into fellowship with God through repenting, believing, and receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. All who have truly repented and believed in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are commanded to be baptized by immersion in water. (Mt. 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Acts 2:38-39).
  • The physical resurrection of all men – those in Christ to everlasting joy in heaven – and those not in Christ to everlasting conscious torment in hell.
  • The regenerating, sanctifying, and empowering ministry of the Holy Spirit, producing fruit of a transformed, pure life and imparting spiritual gifts for effective ministry.
  • The commission of the church to spread the Gospel throughout the world while awaiting the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
